Agriculture and Consumer Services
The Food Distribution Division of the N.C. Department of Agriculture administers the following food programs for USDA: schools (public and private), residential child care, charitable institutions, soup kitchens, food banks, emergency feeding organizations, Food Distribution Program on the Indian Reservation, Commodity Supplemental Food Program, Area Agency on Aging, summer feeding, summer camps, and disaster relief.
