The purpose of this grant program is to fund projects to encourage the preservation of qualifying agricultural, horticultural, and forestlands to foster the growth, development, and sustainability of family farms to match federal funds for the purchase of development rights from agricultural operations located near military bases in the State by: (1) For the purchase of agricultural conservation easements, including transaction costs.
