Overview: Section 23 of S.L. 2026-11 (Senate Bill 401) changes the dates during which a refund may be requested from the North Carolina Dairy Producers Association for the assessment on Grade "A" Milk from December 15 – December 31 to January 15 – January 31 of each year. A refund requested between January 15, 2027 and January 31, 2027 would be for the period running from December 1, 2025 to December 31, 2026.
This section became effective June 22, 2026.
