Overview: Section 6 of S.L. 2026‑11 (Senate Bill 401) amends the definition of an "eligible entity" for a statewide cost‑share program for deploying processes and technologies developed for conversion of animal waste to fertilizer to include any person converting sludge from an anaerobic lagoon or other liquid animal waste management system treating animal waste from a livestock operation into fertilizer products.
This section became effective June 22, 2026.
