S257 - Appropriations Act of 2017. (SL 2017-57)

Overview: S.L. 2017-57, Sec. 7.23L requires the Superintendent of Public Instruction to select an independent research organization to conduct an organizational, functional, and business-process audit of the Department of Public Instruction. The Department must submit a report detailing the results of the audit to the General Assembly, the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee, and the Fiscal Research Division by May 1, 2018.
