Overview: Section 4.5 of S.L. 2025-89 (House Bill 125) authorizes the Utilities Commission to designate a provider or reseller of mobile radio communications service as an eligible telecommunications carrier for the purpose of providing Lifeline Service.
This section became effective retroactively to July 1, 2025.
