Overview: Section 1 of S.L. 2025-10 (Senate Bill 477) authorizes the Department of Natural and Cultural Resources to limit public disclosure of information concerning the nature and location of any rare species of plants or animals, or sensitive natural habitats, upon determining that disclosure would create a risk of harm, theft, or destruction to those species or habitats.
