Overview: Section 6.7.(b) of S.L. 2025-97 (Senate Bill 449) grants all sworn members of the General Assembly Special Police all the powers of policemen of cities while accompanying a member of the General Assembly anywhere in the State for the purpose of providing the member executive protection in response to threats.

This section became effective retroactively to July 1, 2025.
