Overview: Section 6.6 of S.L. 2025-97 (Senate Bill 449) exempts health benefit plans offered by a multiple employer welfare arrangement from certain premium rating requirements applicable to small employer health benefit plans in Article 50A of Chapter 58 of the General Statutes.

This section became effective October 22, 2025, and applies to health benefit plans offered by a multiple employer welfare arrangement licensed under Article 50A of Chapter 58 of the General Statutes on or after that date.
