Overview: Part VII of S.L. 2025-37 (House Bill 67) allows clinical pharmacist practitioners to perform medical tasks, acts, and functions when working under a practice agreement with a licensed physician. It establishes requirements for those agreements. It also requires insurers to cover services provided by clinical pharmacist practitioners and clarifies that prescription drug coverage provisions of Chapter 58 (Insurance) of the General Statutes also applies to third-party administrators and pharmacy benefits managers.

This Part became effective October 1, 2025.
