Overview: Section 4.5 of S.L. 2025-27 (House Bill 576) requires all health care facilities to provide a summary of a mammographic report to a patient in terms that can be understood by a layperson and that contains an assessment of the patient's breast density. It aligns State communication of mammographic breast density information to patients with federal guidelines.
