Overview: Section 5.1. of S.L. 2024-32 (Senate Bill 355) extended the duration of existing animal waste management system general permits for swine farms, cattle farms, and poultry farms using a wet litter system until September 30, 2026.

Section 4.1 of S.L. 2025-97 extends the duration of those permits again, by two more years, to September 30, 2028.

This section became effective July 1, 2025.
