Overview: Section 8A.4 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) allows the State Education Assistance Authority to provide payment of the cost of a nationally standardized test for students receiving an opportunity scholarship grant who must take the nationally standardized tests administered to students in grades 3, 8, and 11. This payment can be included in the opportunity scholarship grant award.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
