- Are located, in whole or in part, in a county with at least one local school administrative unit that received low‑wealth supplemental funding in the previous fiscal year.
- Have a high population of at‑risk students or students with disabilities.
DPI must make grant applications available to all PSUs by July 15 of each year in which funds are available. To receive grant funds, applicants must submit applications no later than 60 days after the application is made available. DPI must approve or deny applications within 30 days of receipt.
Grant recipients must report on Grant Program outcomes to DPI by October 15 of each year funds are received. DPI must submit a report on overall Grant Program outcomes to the Joint Legislative Education Oversight Committee and the Fiscal Research Division by December 15 of each year funds are received.
This section repeals Section 7.19 of S.L. 2023-134, which established a similar program for the 2023-2025 fiscal biennium.
DPI must permit high schools within PSUs to use the PACT program as an approved curriculum for CTE programs.
This section became effective July 1, 2026.
