Overview: Section 16.2 of S.L. 2026-41 (Senate Bill 257) splits District Court District 5 into District Court Districts 5A and 5B.
This section becomes effective January 1, 2027, and subsequent elections for judgeships in District Court Districts 5A and 5B must be held accordingly.
