H1104 - Improve IVC Process and Enhance Public Safety. (SL 2026-38)

Overview: Section 5 of S.L. 2026-38 (House Bill 1104) requires the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) to develop a plan to address behavioral health staffing and bed shortages in State-operated facilities.
DHHS is also required to submit a report on the plan to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Health and Human Services and the Fiscal Research Division no later than December 1, 2026.
This section became effective July 6, 2026.
