H259 - 2023 Appropriations Act. (SL 2023-134)

Overview: Section 19B.3 of S.L. 2023-134 requires the Department of Adult Correction (DAC) to report the following information to the Joint Legislative Oversight Committee on Justice and Public Safety each year:

• The number of DAC employees charged with a criminal offense during work hours.
• The number of DAC employees disciplined due to personal misconduct.
• Certain information used in the hiring and screening process of DAC employees.

This section became effective July 1, 2023.
