HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 50

A JOINT RESOLUTION informing her excellency, governor beverly e. perdue, that the general assembly is organized and ready to proceed with public business and inviting the governor to address a joint session of the senate and house of representatives.

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1.  A committee of six senators appointed by the President Pro Tempore of the Senate and six representatives appointed by the Speaker of the House of Representatives shall notify Her Excellency, Governor Beverly E. Perdue, that the General Assembly is organized and is ready to proceed with public business and to invite her to address a joint session of the Senate and House of Representatives in the Hall of the House of Representatives at 7:00 P.M. on February 14, 2011.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 10^th day of February, 2011.
