HOUSE BILL 889

 

AN ACT TO AMEND CHAPTER 50, SESSION LAWS OF 1963, SO AS TO AUTHORIZE THE PENDER COUNTY BOARD OF ALCOHOLIC CONTROL TO EXPEND ADDITIONAL FUNDS FOR LAW ENFORCEMENT.

 

The General Assembly of North Carolina do enact:

 

Section 1. Section 6 of Chapter 50, Session Laws of 1963, is hereby amended by deleting the following: "After deducting the amount required to be expended for enforcement as provided in G.S. 18-45(o)", and inserting in lieu thereof the following: "After deducting not less than five per cent (5%) nor more than fifteen per cent (15%) of the net profit, to be expended for law enforcement".

Sec. 2. All laws and clauses of laws in conflict with this Act are hereby repealed.

Sec. 3. This Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its ratification.
