HOUSE JOINT RESOLUTION 254

A JOINT RESOLUTION CONFIRMing THE APPOINTMENT OF Kenneth L. Goodman TO THE NORTH CAROLINA INDUSTRIAL COMMISSION.

Whereas, G.S. 97‑77(a1) provides that appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Industrial Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and

Whereas, the Governor wishes to appoint Kenneth L. Goodman of Richmond County to the North Carolina Industrial Commission to a term beginning on May 1, 2019; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Kenneth L. Goodman of Richmond County to a term on the North Carolina Industrial Commission, to begin May 1, 2019, and expire on April 30, 2025, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.
