SENATE JOINT RESOLUTION 678

A JOINT RESOLUTION relating CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT of Robert J. Conner to the North Carolina MINING commission.

Whereas, pursuant to G.S. 143B‑291, appointments by the Governor to the North Carolina Mining Commission are subject to confirmation by the General Assembly; and

Whereas, the Governor has nominated Robert J. Conner of Henderson County to serve on the North Carolina Mining Commission, as a commissioner representing the mining industry; Now, therefore,

Be it resolved by the Senate, the House of Representatives concurring:

SECTION 1.  The appointment of Robert J. Conner of Henderson County to serve on the North Carolina Mining Commission for a term expiring on December 31, 2023, is confirmed.

SECTION 2.  This resolution is effective upon ratification.

In the General Assembly read three times and ratified this the 31^st day of October, 2019.
